Engagements and collaborations:

In the wake of the drive by the Governor of CGOK Hon. Prof. Nyong’o to promote Kisumu as a investment and promotion zone in the Great Lakes region; in the private a capacity Nisa Property and Investments Ltd a private sector company(NISA), is engaged in the promotion of identifying Investor Companies for both Digital Health and Vaccine Development earmarked for Kisumu in the EPZ zone.
The concept is to create a sustainable value chain in the Public sector from the Knowledge base (Universities), Research & Development (Private Sector & Universities) and Manufacturing( Private Sector & Government). This will in turn create economies of scale within the sector and various multiplier effect within the development ecosystem, create jobs and attract investment and funding into the Great Lakes region.
It is on this premise that we took the initiative to engage the CGOK as part of development contribution to the sector as a collaborative effort. It is the advent of these developments and tying with the vision of Prof. Songca and Governor of CGOK Hon. Prof. Nyong’o that the idea to fast-track the Grace Onyango Foundation gained urgency.
